Larry Boncimino

Barbara Caldwell

Barbara Caldwell is a former president of the Moriches Rotary Club and has been a Rotarian for 20 years. She also belongs to the Moriches Chamber of Commerce.

Barbara retired as Director of Hempstead Village Human Relations. She is also a volunteer at St. John’s Food Pantry and Brookhaven’s Meals on Wheels.

Thomas Chieffo

Tom Chieffo has been a member of The Rotary Club of the Moriches since 1998. Tom served as president of the Rotary Club two times and is proud to be a member of this prestigious club and renowned service organization servicing the Moriches community at large.

Tom joined the Board of Directors of the Moriches Rotary Health Camp – Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck in 2000. In 2001 Tom was elected President of the Board of Directors and served in that position for ten years. After taking a hiatus from the board in 2012 Tom again joined the board in 2016 and is still a member today of an amazing place for children with special needs.

Tom has participated in many service projects over the years, the service to the camp being the most satisfying. Along with Tom’s wife Patti, they have hosted many young adults involved with the Rotary Youth Exchange Student program.

Tom’s commitment to service has been one of the highlights of his adult life.

Laura I. Dunathan

Laura is an active Rotarian and member of the Board of Director of Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck. Renowned for her personalized service and attention to individual circumstances, Ms. Dunathan has her own practice with the primary areas of her practice including estate planning, estate and trust administration, elder law, taxation and the representation of non-profit organizations. Laura joins the Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck family with a passion for representing the elderly and individuals with special needs.

Debbie Engelhardt

Debbie Engelhardt is the Library Director at Comsewogue Public Library and an Adjunct Professor at the Palmer School of Library and Information Science, Long Island University. Ms. Engelhardt serves on the Advisory Board of John T. Mather Memorial Hospital and is on the Board of Jefferson’s Ferry Life Plan Community. Debbie is an active Rotarian and a Past President of the Port Jefferson and Southampton Rotary Clubs. She lives in Wading River.

Newton L. Homan

An active member of the Rotary Club of the Moriches since 1992, Newton Homan served for 16 years as a member and Treasurer of the Board of Directors of Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck. A retired real estate broker, Newton is father to two children; and grandfather of three grandchildren

Andrew Kepert

Gisele Kirolos

Gisele has been a member of the Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck Fundraisers, formally known as Moriches Pa-Qua-Tuck Squaws, since 2012. It is a group that is dedicated solely to fundraising for Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck. She has served as vice president from 2019-2022. The Fundraisers organize many events, including Spooky Walk, Handbag Bingo, Basket Auction, and Psychic Readings, to name a few. She joined the Board of Directors in 2023 and is committed to giving back. Gisele works in Wealth Management and lives in St. James with her three children.

Maureen Klersy

Steven B. Kronman

Three-time President of the Rotary Club of the Moriches, two-time Assistant District Governor for District 7260 (now District 7255) and five-time Sargent of Arms for the District conferences, Steven Kronman currently serves as President of the Board for Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck (The Moriches Rotary Health Camp).

A Club member since December 1979, the 20-year veteran also served multiple years on the District Youth exchange committee.

Steven grew up in Center Moriches and graduated from Rider College majoring in Political Science and Business. He started his career in sales with Burroughs Corporation and later joined the family business, Center Moriches Paper Company, as President and co-owner.

Steven’s grandfather, Morris, started the business in 1927, passing it down to Steven’s father, Herb and Uncle Al — and eventually to Steven and his brother Bruce — who together ran the business until the company was sold in 2010. Today, Steven continues his career in sales as a consultant for Imperial Bag & Paper Company.

Steven is the proud father to three wonderful grown sons (Bradley, Corey and Myles) and grandfather of two beautiful grandchildren.

Kevin M. Spellman

A proud member of Rotary since 2001, with a seat on the board since 2005, Kevin M. Spellman is a former President of the Rotary Club of the Moriches, where he chaired the Annual Duck Bar-Be-Que for five years. Kevin and his wife, Kathleen also participated in Rotary Youth Exchange as host parents to two students from South America. Kevin further served as Youth Protection Officer for Rotary District 7260 and 7255 for ten years. From 2013 to 2017, Kevin served as President of the Board of the Camp. A Manorville resident, Kevin is an owner and Managing Partner of the Smithtown-based law office of Devitt Spellman Barrett, LLP and has three children.

Peter U. Traina

A past president of the Moriches Rotary Club from 2011 to 2012, and member since 2005, Peter Traina is a Paul Harris Fellow and Chairperson for the Moriches Rotary Oktoberfest — now the Club’s largest annual fundraiser. A real estate broker, investor and developer for over 25 years and an East Moriches resident for over 20 years, Peter lives with his wife, Laura and their two children, Sophia Rose and Peter.
